Alberta COVID-19 Vaccine Allotments Arrive Despite Transportation Troubles

The receipt of COVID-19 vaccine allotments in Alberta is underway, with several shipments of the much-needed doses finally arriving in the province amid supply chain issues.

Elderly patients awaiting long-term care services in Alberta told The Globe they had been awaiting vaccination doses for weeks, only to find out vaccines have finally been distributed in various regions across the province. Others expressed hope that effort distribution will scale up, meeting their needs within the near future.
